Council of Economic Advisers Yared Leaving Post Announced by Trump

Pierre Yared, the acting chair of the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA), is leaving his role, a position he has held since September. The announcement was made by President Donald Trump, who stated that Yared is returning to the Columbia Graduate School. The CEA has been providing economic policy advice since 1946, and at this time, it is unclear who will be named as Yared's successor. Yared has been a Professor of International Business at Columbia Business School since 2007.
