5 People Shot at Virginia State University During Campus Incident

A shooting at Virginia State University early Saturday resulted in five people being shot, prompting a campus lockdown. Authorities responded to the incident near the Quad Annexes at approximately 1:30 a.m. ET, with the lockdown lifted around 9 a.m. One victim with initially life-threatening injuries is now in critical condition, while the others are reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.
