Trump's AI Rebrand Sparks 2,100% Surge in Slovenia Domain Registrations

President Donald Trump's initiative to rename AI to 'super intelligence' is linked to a significant spike in Slovenian domain registrations. In September, 44,000 web addresses with the .si suffix were registered, up from fewer than 2,000 in August, marking an increase of over 2,100%. On September 30 alone, there were 11,000 new registrations. Trump's directive includes an executive order for federal agencies to adopt the term 'SI' in official documents. This increase in registrations may indicate speculative buying, potentially impacting future valuations of these domains.
