Dangote, Ethiopia, Djibouti to Build $660M Fuel Pipeline

Aliko Dangote, Ethiopia, and Djibouti will develop a $660 million petroleum pipeline and storage project that consists of a 120km pipeline connecting Damerjog port to Dewele in Ethiopia. The project will include a storage capacity of approximately 400 million litres and is expected to begin operations within 18 months. Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated it will reduce fuel transport time from five days to one day. This project enhances Ethiopia's energy security and is part of Dangote's broader expansion across Africa, which includes significant refinery projects and investments.
