Geely Galaxy TT Electric Vehicle Launches at $19,170 in China

Geely Auto (GELYY) has launched its Galaxy TT electric sedan in China with a starting price of 129,900 yuan, equivalent to about $19,170. The vehicle features a 63.8-kWh battery pack providing a range of 640 km (398 miles) per cycle, and it includes fast charging capabilities. This price is 16,000 yuan lower than the pre-sale figure announced in August and includes enhancements such as an 800-volt architecture. The launch offers a significant price point differential compared to U.S. electric vehicles, which may impact market dynamics for EV affordability.
