GE HealthCare (GEHC) Receives FDA Clearance for Photonova Spectra CT

On March 23, 2026, GE HealthCare Technologies Inc. (GEHC) obtained FDA 510(k) clearance for its Photonova Spectra, a next-generation photon-counting CT system. This system features Deep Silicon detector technology, which provides higher spatial and spectral resolution compared to conventional models. It can process data volumes up to 50 times greater than standard CT systems, supporting efficient workflows.
