Rockstar Games (RKG) Hacked Again, Limited Impact Reported

The hacking group ShinyHunters claimed to have accessed Rockstar's servers through a third-party cloud provider and threatened to publish stolen material unless a ransom is paid. However, Rockstar stated that only a limited amount of non-material company information was accessed, emphasizing that this breach does not impact their organization or players. Previous incidents included a major hack in 2023 that resulted in the premature release of gameplay footage for Grand Theft Auto VI.
