Pyka Develops Self-Flying Planes for Crop Spraying and Cargo Delivery

Pyka is developing pilotless planes designed for crop spraying and cargo delivery. These fully electric aircraft have a wingspan of 11.5 meters and can carry up to 300 liters of spray for about 35 minutes. The company has about a dozen aircraft operating in Brazil for agricultural purposes. The advancements in autonomous technology for these planes could potentially lead to a passenger service, with hopes of widespread operation before the electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) industry.
