PwC Reports $31.6 Trillion Data Center Spending by 2050

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) forecasts global data center spending will reach $31.6 trillion by 2050. Annual capital expenditure is expected to increase from approximately $800 billion this year to $1.8 trillion by mid-century, driven by AI demand. The United States is projected to receive $15.1 trillion of this total, nearly half of the global spending, followed by Asia Pacific at $8.2 trillion and Europe at $5.6 trillion.
