FoodCycle charity served over 7000 meals in 2025 for community support

FoodCycle ran eight weekly meal clubs across Sheffield, Bradford, Huddersfield, Hull, and Leeds in 2025, serving more than 7,000 meals. Ian White, a volunteer, joined the charity after experiencing loneliness and weight loss of 51kg due to personal struggles. His involvement has positively impacted his mental health, providing a sense of community and purpose. The charity is currently seeking volunteers over 18 to assist in serving meals and managing food waste. This highlights opportunities for community support and the importance of volunteer work for individuals and local well-being.
