Boeing (BA) Increases 737 Production to 47 Per Month Amid Strike Threat

Boeing (NYSE:BA) has ramped up its 737 production rate to 47 aircraft per month as of the second quarter, up from 38 per month due to regulatory limits. In Q2, Boeing delivered 171 commercial aircraft, an increase of 14% year-over-year, and reported revenue of $24.6 billion, an 8% year-over-year rise. However, the company's engineers and technical workers have authorized a strike with around 88% support, potentially impacting operations. An upcoming strike could disrupt production capabilities, which are crucial for meeting rising demand, as evidenced by a record order backlog of $715 billion.
