Amazon (AMZN) Settles Teamsters Case on Employee Retaliation

Amazon (AMZN) has reached a settlement with federal labor officials regarding claims that it retaliated against striking workers. The company will restore unpaid time off to more than 100 employees whose leave was unlawfully docked after they participated in a strike. Amazon has stated it will not retaliate against workers who go on strike in the future. Although Amazon agreed to this settlement, it did not admit to any wrongdoing, indicating that the company aims to move forward without further conflict.
